The ‘course’ is for 8-10 weeks, coinciding with the NSW Public School holidays, and is carefully planned to gradually increase your knowledge of yoga. You will get the most benefit from your yoga by attending each week, and if possible setting aside some time between classes for some practice
These classes are based on Hatha Yoga and include pranayama (breathing exercises), asana (postures), relaxation, and basic meditation. Due to the small class sizes, these classes are appropriate for all levels of yoga experience with extensions, or simplifications being offered for students who may require it.
Organic Cotton Bolsters and blankets are provided. There are yoga mats, however if you have your own, please bring them along. Wear comfortable loose clothing that allows for freedom of movement.
Please ensure that you inform your teacher prior to any class of any medical condition, physical injury, or emotional state that may impact your yoga practice. Refer to the signup sheet for further details.
